LINCOLN WOODS RENTALS

Chart your own course along the beautiful natural waterways of Lincoln Woods with a 45 or 75 minute kayak rental. Our single and tandem kayaks are comfortable, easy to handle, and are appropriate for all experience levels. Find us at the Kayak Rental Boathouse at Lincoln Woods State Park in Lincoln, RI, next to the Concessions building!

Hours of Operation:

• We are open 7 days/week from 10am to 5pm. 
• Our last rental slot is at 5pm, everyone must be off the water by 6pm.

Really Important Information:

• You MUST check in for your rental 15 minutes prior to your reservation time, and have your waivers SIGNED before you get here. 
• IF YOU ARRIVE LATE, OR HAVE TO SIGN YOUR WAIVERS WHEN YOU GET HERE, YOUR TIME ON THE KAYAK WILL BE SHORTENED AND YOU WILL STILL BE DUE BACK BY THE END OF YOUR RESERVATION TIME.
• There are no time extensions because you arrived late, got stuck in traffic, or didn’t have your waivers signed, so please….PLAN AHEAD!

Rental Information:

• Walk-ups are always welcome, but we strongly suggest you make advanced reservations, as we often sell out.
• Weight capacity for our kayaks is 425 lbs.
• Ages 3-4 are welcome in between two adults in a two-person kayak. It’ll be tight, so please make sure this will work for your party. Sorry, children under 3 are not permitted.
• Ages 5+ are welcome in the front seat of a two-person kayak with an adult in the rear seat.
• Ages 12+ are welcome in a single or two-person kayak with an adult paddling in a separate kayak at the same time.
• Ages 18+ are welcome to paddle without an adult present.
• Your leashed dogs are welcome to join you on our kayaks.
• Because we launch from a beach area, your feet & legs will get wet. You may also get wet while kayaking, so please dress appropriately.
• It is a RI State law that a life vest be worn by ALL paddlers, at ALL times. We have them for everyone, but you may also bring your own USCG approved life vest, if you prefer.
• Paddlers may not leave their kayaks while paddling, at any time. Paddlers vacating their kayaks outside of our beach area will be directed to return and forfeit their remaining rental time.
• Fishing from our kayaks is prohibited.

• Customers may reschedule their rental, receive a credit or a full refund with 24 hours advance notice only. Please contact us by telephone at 401-829-1769 to cancel.
• Last minute cancellations, late arrivals and no-shows will be charged the full rental rate, and there are no refunds.
• Our rentals are typically still available in light rain and other moderate weather conditions. We may cancel your rental up to one hour prior to the start time, in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If we cancel your rental due to weather, you may reschedule, subject to availability, or receive a full refund.
• Our Boat House is located next to the Concession/Restroom/First Aid buildings at the beach area inside Lincoln Woods, approximately .6 mile inside the park.
• There are many parking spaces in the main parking lot at the beach area. Follow the signs to the Kayak Rentals from the main parking lots.
• PLAN AHEAD! Weekends and holidays tend to be very busy at Lincoln Woods, and Route 146 and the entrance into the park can be congested. There are no refunds for late arrivals due to traffic, so come early and relax! We’ll both have way more fun, we promise.
